Android and iOS apps, built once and shipped to both stores

One codebase, two stores, one budget. We build cross-platform apps with React Native or Flutter, connect them to a proper backend and take them through App Store and Google Play review.

Quick answer

A cross-platform Android and iOS app MVP from ZK Digitals starts at USD 15,000 (about AED 55,000), with a fixed written scope before work starts. Most MVPs take ten to sixteen weeks. One codebase serves both platforms and includes user accounts, a backend and admin panel, push notifications, payments where allowed, analytics, and publishing to the App Store and Google Play. We work with clients in the UAE, the United States and Israel.

What is included

  • Product scoping — the smallest version that proves the idea, written down with screens and user flows
  • UX and UI design — clickable prototype you approve before development starts
  • One codebase, two platforms — React Native or Flutter, native modules only where they are truly needed
  • Backend and admin panel — accounts, data, content and orders managed from a web dashboard
  • Push notifications — transactional and marketing messages through Firebase and Apple Push
  • Payments — Stripe or in-app purchases, depending on what the store rules require
  • Analytics and crash reporting — so you know what users do and where the app breaks
  • Store publishing — App Store and Google Play listings, screenshots, privacy forms and review handling
  • Handover — code, accounts and keys in your name, with documentation

Do you need an app at all?

Many businesses do not. If customers visit once or twice a year, a fast mobile website or web app does the job at a fraction of the cost and skips the store review. We will tell you that on the call.

An app earns its cost when people come back often: bookings, orders, loyalty, tracking a delivery or a job, field staff logging work, or anything that needs push notifications, the camera, location or offline use.

Why cross-platform first

Building separate native apps doubles the code, the testing and the maintenance. For most business apps, React Native or Flutter gives you both stores from one codebase with native-level performance. We go fully native only when a feature demands it, and we say so in the scope.

The parts that sink app projects

Store review is the step most first-time founders underestimate. Apple rejects apps for missing account deletion, unclear privacy labels, payment rules and thin content. We prepare those from day one rather than discovering them at launch.

The other sink is the backend. An app is only the front of a system: accounts, data, admin, notifications and payments sit behind it. We build that system to the same standard as our web platforms, so the app is not a pretty shell over a fragile database.

What it costs

The USD 15,000 starting price covers an MVP: a focused set of screens, accounts, a backend with admin panel, push notifications and publishing on both stores. Published market data puts most app projects between USD 10,000 and USD 50,000, with simple MVPs around USD 15,000; marketplaces, real-time features, video or heavy integrations cost more. You get a fixed price after scoping, and the store developer accounts (Apple charges USD 99 a year, Google a one-time USD 25) are opened in your name.

Questions

What clients ask

How much does it cost to build an app for Android and iOS?

A cross-platform MVP with ZK Digitals starts at USD 15,000 (about AED 55,000). Market surveys put most app projects between USD 10,000 and USD 50,000; complex apps go well beyond that. You get a fixed written price after scoping.

How long does app development take?

A typical MVP takes ten to sixteen weeks: about two weeks of scoping and design, eight to twelve weeks of build and testing, then store review, which can take a few days to two weeks.

React Native or Flutter: which do you use?

Both are mature and give you Android and iOS from one codebase. We choose per project based on the features, any existing code and who will maintain it, and explain the choice in the scope.

Will you publish the app on the App Store and Google Play?

Yes. Store listings, screenshots, privacy declarations and review responses are included. The developer accounts are opened in your name so you own the apps.

Do I need an app or will a website do?

If customers use you rarely, a fast mobile website is usually enough and cheaper. An app makes sense for repeat use, push notifications, the camera, location or offline features. We will give you a straight answer on the free call.

Where we deliver this

The same service, adapted to three markets

United Arab Emirates

Mobile apps for UAE businesses

UAE users expect Arabic and English, WhatsApp hand-off and local payment options. We build bilingual right-to-left interfaces and integrate the gateways that work in the Gulf, within App Store payment rules.

United States

App development for US startups and SMBs

For US clients the priority is usually a lean MVP that proves demand before a big spend. We keep scope tight, instrument analytics from day one and plan the second version from real usage.

Israel

Hebrew and English apps for Israel

Hebrew right-to-left layouts need care in navigation, forms and charts. We build them properly in both languages and test on the devices your users actually carry.
